This event is part of the Brit­ish Coun­cil sponsored ‘From Word to Sound’ project.  \n“The pan­el will work around text music rela­tion in a his­tor­ic­al per­spect­ive\, a sur­vey of text set­ting in West­ern Music his­tory\, emphas­iz­ing the dif­fer­ence between poetry and drama\, and work­ing as a com­poser espe­cially in the con­text of Onur Türk­men work in pro­gress – “Sail­ing to Byz­an­ti­um” on the poetry of Yeats and Haşim.” \nBene­dict is very grate­ful to the Bris­tol Uni­ver­sity Alumni Found­a­tion for their sup­port in attend­ing this event.  \nSee also Bilkent New Music Days | Concert
