• These recordings where made at various points during 2021 at Great St Mary’s, the University Church, Cambridge, while the church was closed during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns. Benedict is playing both the Kenneth Jones 1991 Parish Organ and the Smith/Hill/Mander (et al.) University Organ. The latter was first built in 1698 and, although it has been extensively modified over the years, still contains one of the largest known single collections of pipework originally made by ‘Father’ Bernard Smith.
