  • Programme note:

Repetition. Repetition is a crucial component of musical rhetoric, and one which has long fascinated me. Repetition fascinates me. What to repeat and what to let go; the delicate balance. This piece plays with these ideas. It plays with small motifs, turning them, examining them, changing them. Always [mostly] moving forward. Playing with what to repeat, what to let go, and finding out where the next turn of the flow may carry us.
