Organ recital: St John’s Church, Ranmoor
Benedict is delighted to have been invited by Joe Hutchinson, a fellow former University of Bristol organ scholar and director of the University of Bristol Church Choir, to give an organ recital at St John’s Church, Ranmoor, where Joe has been the organ scholar since graduating from Bristol in 2013. Organ Recital: St James the Great, Dursley

Organ Recital: Blackburn Cathedral
Benedict is delighted to have been invited back to Blackburn Cathedral (where, from 2011 - 12 he was the Organ Scholar) to give a lunchtime organ recital. The concert, which is part of the cathedral's regular lunchtime recital series, will be on Wednesday 9 March 2016 at 1pm and will last roughly 45 minutes. Benedict’s piece Effundum spiritum meum has been selected to be performed in the workshops organised as part of the Old Hispanic Office’s composition competition. The piece, which was written for the competition in the summer of 2015, will be workshopped by the Christ Church Cathedral Choir alongside pieces by other short-listed composers in the chapel of St Peter’s College, Oxford on the 7 March (15:00 - 15:30) and 8 March (12:00 - 12:30). Benedict will be talking about his piece Yeşil gece müziği as part of the postgraduate composers’ research seminar in the Victoria Rooms on Tuesday 16 February at 4:30pm.
