UoBCC Summer Tour 2015: Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford
Benedict will once again be joining the University of Bristol Church Choir on their annual summer tour. This year the choir will be singing at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, deputising for the cathedral choir by singing for the regular cathedral services whilst the latter is on their summer vacation. Bilkent New Music Days – Concert
Hezarfen Ensemble performers Müge Hendekli (piano) and Amy Salsgiver (percussion), will be giving the première performance of Benedict’s most recent piece Yeşil gece müziği as part of the Bilkent New Music Days festival. This piece was commissioned as part of the British Council sponsored ‘From Word to Sound’ project. Benedict will be participating in a panel discussion alongside fellow composers Onur Türkmen, Michael Ellison, Neal Farwell, and Mert Kocadayı.
